FIFA 24: The Euro 2024 update will be released next year, what changes will be coming to FC 24?

EA just announced some big news recently, Euro 2024 will officially be coming to FC 24, FC 24 Mobile, and FC Online next summer!
With the EA FC 24 Black Friday sale well underway, EA Sports has taken the opportunity to promote the game even more, announcing that EA FC 24 will indeed receive a free Euro 2024 in-game update. The update is expected to be released next summer, and while the exact date is yet to be confirmed, it's likely to be around June 14, 2024, as that's when the men's European Championship officially begins.
At the same time as the tournament kicks off, Euro 2024 will appear in the game as a free update to coincide with the start of real-life competition. As with FIFA before it, EA will be making major updates to the game centered around international tournaments, and Euro 2024 will have players jumping into the action across all game modes. The platform will be available to all EA SPORTS FC 24 players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
FIFA 21 missed out on the Euro 2020 mode due to Konami having the official license for its eFootball series (formerly Pro Evolution Soccer) tournaments, and last year players got to experience the FIFA World Cup game mode in FIFA 23, Ultimate Team. There’s plenty of interesting content surrounding the tournament, and FC 24 will be too! So the announcement of FC 24 Euro 2024 is big news for the FC 24 community, players can get a free player for Euro 2024 just by playing FC 24 before January 16th.
This is one of the many benefits of EA's split from FIFA, but the price is that the EA Sports FC series is unlikely to launch a World Cup mode in the future. But giving players the chance to experience a tournament where EA has brought Europe's most prestigious tournament into the game, with a total of six European stars to choose from, is a nice touch.
In addition to the news about the EA FC 24 Euro 2024 update, there is also the promise of free, exclusive, non-tradable Ultimate Team Player items. But there's a warning - while it's barely eligible, you have until January 16, 2024 to play EA FC 24, while these free player items will start rolling out to applicable players on Monday, December 18.
